Overview: 

Housed in the 11,000 square-foot Oldfather Studios, the University of Kansas Film and Media Studies Department is dedicated to uniting the academic with the artistic, where you'll create and learn about film and media. Your course load will be comprehensive and range from video production classes to classes within the liberal arts and sciences. KU students have won regional, national and international competitions for their film/media projects. The university has recently been recognized by the Fiske Guide to Colleges as being a "major university strong in film/television."
